These Associations

The venue is the large central atrium of the Albertinum. A place that is freely accessible to everyone. It is different at the Volksbühne, where "These Associations" is shown over four evenings. Over 40 performers come singing from the stage into the auditorium, the chairs are dismantled, they scatter around the room and gradually draw the audience onto the stage. In the unpredictable interaction between actors and visitors, there are moments of completely spontaneous, personal exchange between people. What counts is the direct encounter at eye level, the outcome of which is always open. What remains are "these associations" - the possible connections that can arise between the actors, the visitors, the place and the stories.
